Our client, an IT and Software Development company, is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support them remotely from USA or LATAM.
Main responsibilities:
Deliver apps to customers by introducing automation into the stages of app development using CI/CD Methods.
Knowledge of Jenkins' open source automation server to reliably build, test, and deploy softwares.
The expert should:
Be able to work with configuration management (CM) tools like Ansible or Puppet to install and manage software on existing server instances (e.g., installation of packages, starting of services, installing C-Shell Scripts or config files on the instance).
Know how to run VMWare to enable users to create and run VMs directly on a single Windows or Linux desktop or laptop .
Requirements
Experience:
Knowledge in open-source type Kubernetes system for automating software deployment, scaling, and management.
GCP 3+ years of experience
Terraform 2+ years of experience writing C- Shaped Scripts
Cloud Architecture Google Certificate
Experience working with public clouds like AWS and Azure.
Experience working with Docker open platform for developing, shipping, and running applications . Know how to separate applications from existing and new infrastructure in order to deliver software quickly.
Software development using Java / Python.
English fluent.
